If caravan parks can provide the
services we want - of course we will stay there. Their market consists of those who want those
services - and only them. They cannot force us into their market. If councils can attract ANOTHER portion of the market into their towns then private enterprise of another kind will follow to attract the business of this other group. If it isn't expensive groceries or fuel we want maybe it is a nice outback pub, or a cafe with ice creams, or a date winery! It's private enterprise and tourism
infrastructure however you look at it.
