John and Val,
It's great to read a blog about our own area, I live in a small hamlet 10 kms south of
Castlemaine. Unfortunately as we travel through areas we just glimpse at what is to offer. There is so much history tied up in our surrounding bushland from the gold rush days but you need some one local to point it out. Next time you venture this way send us a MM and if we are home (like you we have itchy feet) we would be pleased to show you around.
I hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip, there is plenty to see in Vic.
