Great read, we have yet to get into that western part of the
park. It seems we were in the vicinity at the same time you were there. Those storms were spectacular. We spent the night of 29/8 near the
Carnarvon NP turn-off and had some rain and a lot of lightning. Got drenched further south at
Condamine the next night.
The pink flower at Homoranthus
Hill is Calytrix tetragona.
