G'day Michael John T
I saw you blog & as we are planning a similar trip to Salvator Rosa in August 2013 it was good to read your trip report.
I did have a question about the chance of having a
camp fire in the campground at Salavator Rosa as I was unsure of whether there was a ban on fires so wanted to get your feedback.
Thanks & Regards
Gaz

Hi Gaz,
Yes fires seem to be allowed but as usual you need to collect firewood before you enter the
park. If I remember correctly we collected the wood just a few kms before
the entrance, but had to climb through a fence onto private property to do so. If coming in from the North plenty of wood along the Nagora River.
Word of warning if it looks like rain think carefully before heading into that country, there is an awful lot of dirt to travel on. Lovely country though.
Have a great trip.
Regards,
Mike.
