Hi Guys, sounds like a great trip with huge variety the kids should love and get a lot out of. A good book to have the kids research for Cape York is "A Savage Frontier", by Rodney Lidell. Don't worry too much about the first chapter but most history teachers in Australia have never heard of Frank Jardin. Some fascinating stories in the cape. SS America, SS quetta, Wini of Badu, treasure from the cyclone and lots more. I would suggest you edit the research.
