The Thorny Devil (Moloch horridus) is a native Australian lizard. It is also known as the Thorny Dragon, Mountain Devil, Thorny Lizard, or the Moloch and is the sole species of genus Moloch.

Thanks Mick. Yes they are definitely a talking point.

We saw one last year on the ABH as well. Prior to that had only ever seen another one only, in all those 1000's of kays; in Kalbarri NP about 1995.
