Sorry, tried to be clever and made a mess of the format.
Here it is in a style you can actually read!
Farmer's Casserole with cheese dumplings
400g rump, cubed
1 carrot
2 potatoes
2 celery stalks
1/2 capsicum
1 onion
1tab oil
Marinade / sauce
1 tab oil
1 garlic clove
2 tsp curry powder
1 tab chutney
2 tsp vinegar
2 tsp soy sauce
2 tsp sugar
1 tab cornflour
opt. bit of red wine to taste
Dumplings
1 cup SR flour
1/2cup grated cheese
1 tab butter
1/4cup
water
Marinate meat in sauce during the day if possible
Dice all the vege's, I like em chunky!
fry in oil on high heat about 10 min and set aside
Brown the meat, no need to
cook thoroughly, then
combine meat, veg and sauce in
camp oven
simmer for 1 hour, lid on
Meanwhile, combine dumpling ingredients
and roll into small dumplings (they grow slightly)
Place on top of casserole, and bake 30 min, lid on
