It's not just the
Pilbara. There are stacks of special Banded Ironstone ranges with absolutely unique ecologies and fabulous 4WD'ing in the Midwest and north of
Southern Cross that are either being, or about to be, screwed :-(

Yes mate, the drive down the highway to
Perth is now markedly different because of the
Mount Gibson mining project ~ bloody amaizing to think the miners can simply shift all boundaries when it comes to winning a resource project, very complient government departments ~ DEC ~ the EPA and local government. I wonder how loudly the good people of
Albany are prepared to squeal when the mining industry starts their new iron ore operations in the area.
No wineries ~ no worries !!
We as Australians have more to lose than we can ever gain, when it comes to the rapid expansion of the resources industry, but sadly it is the way of the future.
