There has been a great deal of comparrison re air compressors for 4WD vehicles. I would love to purchase a compressor from ARB etc but cannot afford the $300 / $400 for it. There was some mention of a compressor comming from the same factory / different nane or one being purchased from Ebay. Did a search and was confused by the numbers of different models and almost the same spec's as each other. Can someone please tell me a brand that is going to the job and provide me with value for money. I also recall some one doing a bulk deal - is this still on?

I was in a simular position after I bought my 4by so I settled on a truck air from the auto parts
shop. Bit slower but it is air cooled and reliable as I have had it over 3yrs for around $100

Try
Ranger Camping & ask for a 72 litre per minute type (thats the Bushranger output). About $135- to $150- Ithink

Prices are getting even better. Received CampMart catalogue yesterday and they had identical looking (bar the sticker) for $179. $135 to $150...that's a bargain if you don't want to buy 399 for $45 each. Wish I hadn't bought my Repco/Super Cheap "Hurricane" looking one now. Oh
well.
