Thanks Mike, clothes always seem problematic for a trip across a number of different climates! Fortunately with modern lightweight fabrics it is a little easier than it used to be. We all carry pure wool thermals, windstopper jackets and gortex rainjackets. Using the layer principal seems to result in overall less clothes. Our family has 'grown' up travelling so don't have too many issues although the girls DO have a genetic thing about lots of clothes (especially pink ones) :-). I think my favourite time is spending 2-3 weeks at
Ningaloo Station when we live in bathers and wash in the ocean. Clothes washing is a thing of distant memory although again my wife eventually explodes when the campertrailer bed sheets get sticky with salt and sand :-) Mike
