Hi Stephen.
Burra is a special place, isn't it? We intended an over night stop but stayed for 3 days and did the
heritage trail. It was interesting to see the number of people prominent in South Austraian affairs who came from
Burra. And it's right on your door step, too.
Cheers,
Kevin

Hi Kevin
Yes
Burra is a very special place, but as kids growing up, it was just another town close by with lots of old buildings. We should have been made more aware of what we have right on our own door step at school.
The only thing that I would tell anyone, is not to follow the times given by the
Visitor Centre. They said allow between 2 - 3 houra to do the drive. We have seen many of the old buildings many times in the past, and skipped many of them, but still spent 5 1/2 hours over in
Burra seeing what we did.
Your 3 days in
Burra would have given you lots of time to see it all at a very comfortable pace.
Cheers
Stephen
