G'day all
I have a cub camper trailer that the gas strusts have corroded and now need replacing.
I'm looking for rubber boot seals that can be fitted over the ram of the gas strut to prevent the same from happening again (I live by the coast and the trailer is out in the open)
Kimberly use these boots on their trailers, but i cannot track down their supplier. Does anybody know where i can obtain a product to use?
Also any tips on replacing (compressing gas struts)
Thanks

SJF,
The gas struts don't get compressed when fitting. The door or what ever the struts are holding up has to be fully opened and the struts are levered off.
Give Peter Hands a call on 02 42711066 he sells Kimberly Campers and he might be able to help with the rubber boot problem.
