rodneyr - Gidday. I'm assuming that your
Mildura trip is a test run for bigger & better adventures. Not a bad idea.
Your fuel economy figures are impressive. We only managed similar figures with a camper trailer behind an NT diesel Pajero but I have to say for me it was just too hard to sit on 90kph & cover huge distances. So good on you if you can be disciplined and sit on 90.
One thing we worked out early on was to copy procedures of pilots & do a check, check, check, each time before heading off. For example with your fridge and the issue of gas & 12volt, can I suggest it is top of your Check List? That way everything stays safe.

Thanks Wayne, yeah as you said this trip is to iron out things. Due the cost of fuel now l just have to keep the pedal off the metal. I will be writing the blog whilst away and it will be interesting to see how things go. The check list on the door before you walk out so l will be doing the checks.
