There's nothing worse than paying good money for a product, only to have it fail, when it doesn't do the job it's supposed to do!
A camper
suspension failure indicates poor design or poor workmanship to me, and I'd like to hear the details surrounding the actual problem, and the make of the camper.
There's a lot of crap out there, parading as "off-road" equipment - but I wouldn't take them off the bitumen. They're built to a price, not for a job.

Hi Ron,
I agree with your comments. I did a lot of research before buying and have generally been happy wiith the camper. The
suspension component which failed is actually made and sold as a package/kit and was not made by the trailer manufacturer. The
suspension was made by a company in
Melbourne. I will be following them up upon my return.
No matter what the product, sometimes things break, fail, etc. What is important to me that the builder/supplier provide appropriate after sales backup. I must say that Tru Blu Campers have been exceptionally good in this respect.
Tim.
