Burton's Perth to Cape York Twin Falls to the TIP Day 47-48 16-17 May 2011

With some sadness we left Twin Falls. It was one of those right time, right place sort of camps. Hardly any people and those we did meet were like minded travellers, the falls mostly to ourselves,

Hi Phil, another holiday is always appealing. Now we are on the Savannah Way we are back amongst the grey nomads in their caravans. Here there is definitely a class system with them looking down their nose at our dirty cruiser and camper trailer...the easy friendliness of the Cape is missing...cold shoulders, lack of conversation and dirty looks at the red mud pun intended....we'll be glad to hit the dirt and back amongst the real travellers....
Mike and Amanda... P.s maybe we'll have to wash the car, although it will only get dirty again soon.....
