Comment: Have Dragonboat will Travel!

Hello Seja - what a great advertisement for dragonboating. I am currently reading a book where a breast cancer survivor walked around Australia and then ran 18,000klms around Australia not only to set a record, but to also raise much needed funds for breast cancer research - 60klms a day.......that is hard yacker - probably much harder than paddling 60klms per day. This achiever was greeted and cheered along by so many local dragonboat clubs. It is amazing how many clubs there are out there not only on the coast but inland as well. There must be a route you can take to paddle your way around Australia?? Make that your next mission after Kununurra.........I'm sure there would be 10 eager paddlers (plus a few reserves) to help you achieve it.
I just love the photo from your kayak of the birds at 'happy hour'.........'happy hour' 24 hours a day would be so good. Enjoy.

Am reading that same book - Alison lent it to me. Check out the link below. Freya has long been my herorine. She paddled around Aust but on the water the whole way!! I found the ‘Perceptive Comments by Readers who’ve done Lots of Hard and Scary bleep .’ very profound.
