Comment: WA Long weekend - Waves, whingeing, wine and wonky bullbars

hi cruiser 74
an interesting story and i have come to in one part a conclusion that you have what seems like an insain or maybe insaturable determination to succeed with your desired plans for a weekend trip into the wilds
given the odd hours to which it was accomplished
when any one else would have curled up in a swag and waited for daylightyou soldered on
i dont know how C A L M will view you passing a - no entry impassable - sign and it will probably be taken in a dim and negative manner no doubt by them and will no doubt raise the hackles on their backs
because another 4wder has ignored one of their track signs
all be it being an impassable and not a road closed sign and imho you have probably saved the tax payers hundred of $s by your axemanship in comparison to the expense involed by them in getting it removed
they wont see it that way because hypocrasy
but as it turned out you have made access possible by a night time axeing of the offending tree branches
but probably not to their standards of how the blocked track should have been dealt with by making a detour past the end of the fallen monster
the photos are great and to me that looks like calco hill area and adjoining beach
glad it all turned out good in the end and hope your girlfriend enjoyed it too
cheers barry
