camp on the
Gregory River behind the pub.?

The place we stayed at
Gregory Downs is in the Camps 6 book. When we got there we parked in the designated
free camping spot. But when we went for a walk down to the river we saw heaps of caravans down on the riverbank. So we moved the car down there. We weren't towing anything but there is a
sign down the
old road down that says, 'No caravans or camper trailers' and the Camps book says no
camping of the river bank but everyone seems to do it.
