Hi Reuben,
As you are asking a question you would do better to use the
forum. Have a look through our
blogs as we have been through that area a few times.
Muloorina station about 50kms NW of Maree has a nice campground and from there you can go out to Lake Eyre. You could go out and back in a day. Also go west along the
Oodnadatta track to see the mound springs, the old Ghan railway and
Coward Springs. To the south you can visit the abandoned town of Farins and the
ochre pits. Plenty to see - in
Marree itself is the Lake Eyre yatch club and the old railway engines etc.
