What a shame you were not able to
camp at
Redbank Gorge. You can have a fire there. Wife and I camped there about 3 weeks ago and it was a great spot. Not only fires, but really good gas stoves and bbqs too. All good up that way. The
Mereenie loop is a good drive and the road is good if you are careful.
