I recently purchased and loaded into my computer this Garmin mapping programme, unfortunately my computer crashed the following day and I had to reload almost everything including MapSource. I then find that I can only reload part of the programme as I don't have a 25digit unlock code, Iwas apparently supposed to receive this when I initially installed the programme, I have sent e-mails to Garmin, tried ringing them all to no avail. My question is : Has anyone else had problems contacting Garmin?

Try contacting GME Australia. They are the Garmin agents here.

You have to have that number to install the program in the first place. It is on the inside cover of the instructions.

Is this number the one that they send back via email. If so then get in touch with Garmin direct, as stated in another reply.

While you do not need the unlock code to install Mapsource Metroguide Australia, you do need to have entered it to view the detailed maps on your PC or to download maps to your GPSr.
This unlock code it tied to both the product and the serial number of your GPSr.

Normally people either print off the unlock info from Garmins website (after going thru the unlock process) or write it down.
