First up, apologies to David and Michelle if this offends, but surely I'm not the only one here who visits other forums besides this one....
(FWIW, I like this one the best!!)

Anyway, just thought I'd mention... There's a um, "interesting" (ahem) "discussion" going on over at the 4wdmonthly forum... (involving a chappie from a certain "diesel tuning establishment" ah,... somewhere.........

Some of you may wish to wander over for a "bit of a gander"..
(in "general discussion")

Actually the truth has not been brought about yet.

Shazam.... it is Andrew form that place you cannot mention.

I have followed on from the thread and followed one to here .

It is unfortunate to see the forum owner mis leading all without a fair right of reply..

If he remebers correctly. I first contacted Oz about a post that was being found by search engines in regards to allegations about my business and also linking it to another one. After many E-mails that I sent and yet all I recieved was Pro forma replies from Oz including ones asking would I like to advertise on the site, I took it that they were not interested. I do not appreciate slander and neither would most people so I had my friend who is a solicitor send of a hot letter to let them realise I am for real about my upset.

Of course the phone then rang hot from Oz only to have me tell them that they had been given ample warnings to do something about it.

So that is where it ends.

I am no coward as you that have visited the forum that a hot thread is running on. Yes Mr Oz I can hack it can you! If you wish it migh not hurt to contact me on diesel@hinet.net.au and discuss the matter.

It is not me who has gaged your site. I think it would be very mature for Mr Oz to admit some guilt as to why!!

Again I lay myself open and I can cop it sweet too. I am sure there is enough out there that can see this!

Thankyou.

I have continued on the other forum and have been asked by many others to come on line to give some tech info to get there sites moving.

I am human and as the many that have rung me at work since the hot postings have found out can talk too!

Andrew,
I'm just an innocent potential customer, and if what I have seen over the past few days is any indication then I can definitely say that I will NOT be a customer. Why pick on my post???? I am only interested in gaining information as many others are, some is good, others not. There is no need for to be rude or degrading as in the start of your post, it only backs up what has been written elsewhere. At the end of the day you are losing out on customers, it doesn't bother me whether I frequent your establishment or not!
Now if you want to be sensible, write a sensible reply,
Rolande

Rolande,
I haven't added this post to direct it at you. I am sorry if you took it that way. I am not familiar with this sites operation so I have just clicked on what I could find.
Still hear only silence from the forum owner with his half story!

No offence taken - glad it was 4WD Monthly's turn and not ours. We got a letter threating us from the lawyer and subsequently we elected to remove all reference to this business and not allow this business name to be posted. Why will some businesses not wake up and accept the good with the bad because highlighting the bad only looks worse for them.

David,
Speaking of controvosies, has the chap from Synforce finalised joining the forum as a member/visitor/advertiser? He seemed dead keen to get his point across and now I seem to be doing his bidding for him to a certain extent by undertaking to give a report on his product in due course.
Cheers,
Roachie

Michael,
I had my 4.2 Patrol done there a couple of years ago too and it seemed to run better. One thing I was always curious about was why they put a small "T" piece into the short rubber hose on the waste gate of the turbo. Having been prompted to check out the 4wd monthly forum earlier today, I noticed somebody else mentioned this too. It finally got the better of me and I phoned up the bloke in question to see what the reason was. He explained it all to me and I was here on the phone nodding my head, but it was all a bit too technical for me.....something about getting the boost pressure right. It sounded good !!! LOL
Cheers,
Roachie

It was ages ago now and regardless of what Andrew decides to post on our system (even though we have agreed never to post about his business) I will not be making any comment on the open system about this. I think the posts here and on 4WD Monthly speak for themselves!

Rohan - get me on private email of Member Msg if you wish.

In short, they were aguing over a type of engine enhancer, but more banter centred around who is against who, and who is slandering who etc.
It did nothing to enhance the reputation of the place that supposedly
has(d) many happy customers, strange I have never seen a post to this effect
(Pardon Roachie, just saw it)

I just read it again and to me it reads all the attitude was coming from the guy that was finally kicked off that forum site over it. I don't see why experienced professionals should have to put up with misinformation from self proclaimed 'internet' experts or with slander from people who are not happy with their service. They should use the correct legal channels if they have a problem with a business instead of slagging off over the net from behind an anonymous nickname. The bottom line for me is my vehicle gets done right, I couldn't care less about the rest. Like I said they have been more than friendly and helpfull to me.
cheers,
Jono

Jono,
Sorry, I may not have been clear with last post. I was referring to the follow up on this thread. All I was saying was by posting
"shazzam -its the bloke from the place you can't menton" etc, etc
that this does not seem very professional to me. Sure he has the right to defend himself and be given the opportunity to do so, but there is no need for silly replies, and this is what I saw on the other thread. There is lots of slander on this site also about businesses also if you take it like that, you take all with a grain of salt and make up your own mind. Please don't think I am criticizing you in any way, just sharing an opinion.
Rolande
