Yes they take ages - I know all about it ;) Here's a tip to help alleviate fears about losing a blog before you submit .... run a Notepad or Word or email file simultaneously and periodically do a copy/paste of the blog text/code from the edit window and keep saving that file. If you lose anything, you can go and copy/paste that into a new blog :)
