Maralinga and back to the Anne Beadell Highway

Back in late 2011 I received an email from a fellow EO Member asking me some information about one of the places that he would like to visit during his March 2012 Desert wanderings.

I now plan a visit to Maralinga in 2014! Sounds like a fascinating place, and the deserts around it are very attractive as well. I'll be watching for the Trek Notes! Thank you for the detailed blog and all the photos.

Thanks for the reply and I am pleased that you enjoyed the Blog. Even with all the photos that I have shown, it still does not give justice to the area and it is one place that is going to see many travelers now that the permit system has changed.

Robin is the most unreal man and he alone makes the visit what it is.....just fantastic.

As you will have read, we are going back again next year and we are now counting down the months.

Keep watching this great site for the release of the 3 new trek notes.
