Comment: Good bye to a much loved Caravan

Hello Heather. I followed your blogs for your trip this year with great interest. I learned much about "driving to the conditions" from your comments and where you took your van. I am encouraged to follow your example and to some extent your wheel tracks although I think I will give the short cut to the Dig Tree a miss. A great number of people ask questions about road comditions on ExplorOz but very few bother to report their experiences and give useable information. I wonder if they dom't want to admit how they really drive on remote roads. Happy travels as you wait for your new van and after you get it. I hope you dom't experience the obstacles that we have encountered this year as we have tried to put some kilometers on our new van.
