Comment: Back to Basics - caravanners experience 6 nights in a tent.

Thanks for you comments. Have managed one damper while here but its not the same as when we are out alone in the outback!
We started out with a small tent, graduated to this bigger one (5 man) and then a succession of ever bigger rigs - an old Jayco Penguin, then a pop top, to the Sterling and finally the one ordered....We think it will be our last one and at 20 ft long has pretty much every comfort we desire...missing the ability to stay unpowered as that part of the park is virtually unoccupied. Could have done it for a weekend but not a fortnight!
The new van will be very much appreciated after this experience.
