Hi all - I would appreciate any advice on
bush camping sites between The Lynd and
Chillagoe in Qld. I am particularly interested in those that might be able to accommodate 7 vehicles. While it is our intention to utilise commercial facilities or larger NPWS sites where possible I just want to have some backup locations up my sleeve. I think I'm pretty right for points from
Chillagoe to
Seisia and return it's just this bit of outback QLD that doesn't seem to have much written about it. If push come to shove we might have to break into two groups in some areas.
Cheers
Pete

Patrol22, we were up that way last year and camped in a disused quarry a couple of hundred metres south of the turnoff to Undara (
Savannah way). Plenty of room, flat although a little hard under foot. There arequite a few of these quarries around all the way up and we found to be them good campsites.
