Unfortunately this engine seems to be prone to engine failure and is quite common. My advice would be move on asap to another vehicle with a different engine.

That would have been the smart think to do but I recently spent a fair bit upgrading the
suspension etc. But even so this may be the only thing I can do especially as Nissan will only wannant the new engine for 20,000 km as it is considered to be a spare part. Thanks for the interest
