Hi Glenda and Max,
You are quite right about the problem of pine wildlings. They are a problem that I do recall being included in a management plan for the ACT forests probably 20 years ago. Its the usual issue of not enough resources to do what is needed - until its too late. Enjoy your trip to Tasmania.
