Comment: Pining for the Snowy Mountains

Yes, that is not good news but they are very good at removing them. I remember when I moved to the Kosciuzsko National Park in 88 there were many pines and other unwanted exotics up as high as Guthega. I moved away for a few years and they had all disappeared when I returned. These had been introduced by the hydro workers but no doubt they will have field officers out to manage this before it gets out of hand.

I have just spent 12 weeks touring Tassie. My blogs have some good ideas for beautiful places to visit. I hope you have a great time down there.
