Comment: Karlamilyi (Rudall River) - An "OH SHIT" moment near the Desert Queen B

Rooney Creek, not Rooneys: A tributary of the Rudall River having its headwaters near Compton Pinnacle and trending generally south-eastwards for about 27km. Named by government geologist N.W.B. Talbot during geological surveys in 1912-14. No doubt named after a member of a party that prospected this region in 1899 as Talbot recorded finding a tree on nearby Yandagooge Creek marked "Rooney,T.O'C., J. Whitby, June '99, R.C.'. Note : the W.A. Postal Directory for 1900 lists a John Rooney, prospector, at Nullagine, presumably the person whose name is here perpetuated. source = 418100e. 7523200n.

Man you're good! I hand't even got the email off to you. What about Miles Ridge, Compton Pinnacle?
