24 hour fuel

At a all night servo, just like thje rest of us.
Sorry could not help myself. There is a site on Explore Oz that has fuel prices and it might tell you when they are open.
Carfull driving at night out there, a lot of wild life roam around at night.

try some of the major fuel company sites, they usually have listings.

shell, caltex, Mobil etc etc

I think there is a 24hour at Longreach. From memory none of the towns in between are big enough for a 24 hour. Maybe it will be best to carry a few jerries to be on the safe side.

have tried doing the rounds of the fuel companies but they dont all give hours of opening, will try longreach council to see if they can confirm 24 hour fuel,

You will get fuel in Longreach, then check with the Burke and Wills Roadhouse.

Work out your range, then check for the fuel stops on the way up.

Yep, old boy said Longreach has one. Kindly report your winnings in the comp when you get back. Couple of people from here going up for that also.

thanks for your help - have phoned longreach - Mobil has 24 hour auto fuel - just need a debit card - or Longreach roadhouse is open 6am-11pm
