Guys, going to Menindie Lakes soon. Are there any yabbies in the lake yet.

Garry I was there last september and there were cattle standing in it dry as a bicky.

I understand that there is a bit heading that way but weather it will do any good is yet to be seen. Have to stop the cotton growers siphoning it all off before it gets into the river systems first of all.

Does it matter if there is water in it yet? Just food for thought, if there is no water and then it rains filling up the lakes, where do the yabbies come from? Do they dig into the mud and wait? If so, you must be able to dig them up!
