I have been slack in submitting to this site. so will try and be a little more diligent from now on!
so far we have had a great time, with a few little adventures along the way....all good for a laugh post happenings!
Exploding griller, pot holes jumping up out of nowhere....
Bourke "Outback Show" is a must to see if anyone is in the region, very entertaining man (Luke) with an obvious love of animals and stockman lifestyle. He has the gift of the gab along with a wicked sense of humour.
Sitting at
Charleville airport watching the Qantas plane arrive from
Brisbane! (It's a "boy thing"! ) Off to another campfire tea tonight at van
park we are staying at. (Have to watch out for those lurking pothole tho!)
Charleville is on artesian
bore water that smells v like sulphur and quite warm! Weather is WARM, so have progressed to short sleeves and 3/4 pants, so nice to shed the winter layers! Temp of 21. Warrago river dried up in spots.
