My next blog which I think I managed to post a few days later goes on to explain that we did end up taking the Plenty Highway. We definitely recommend it. It's a great road and in some places better or as good than the great central.

We spent some time in Winton and Longreach too which was very interesting.

I hope the next blog provides more info for you. We have made it to Weipa now so not long to go.
