Good day Joe
Glad your all fixed up but tell me what happened to free medical care whatever if you live above the 26th Parallel not another cut by our beloved leaders so we can give people who just turn up on our shores a better level of care than people like yourself who has done his fair share of supplying the tax coffers.
I think fly in fly out should be covered while at work but their responceability when at home.
All the best cheers Dave

G'day David
I am familiar with the above the 26th parallel scenario, simply because everything is more expensive because I'm on the wrong side if it.
I honestly can't say anything negative about people who just turn up on our shores invited or otherwise, I personally think they are using the system to advantage, but what the hell I'm just a tax payer.
I can honestly say were it not for overseas people ~ doctors, nursing and orderly staff, I would not have been looked after so
well whilst I was in hospital simply because there were precious few Aussies doing the Doctoring, nursing or orderly things and for this I am very very grateful indeed.
The Fly in Fly out workforce/culture is yet to bite Australia in the butt, so when it comes it's going to be painful.
Thank you for the interest in the story.
Safe travels : Joe
