Forgot to mention we aren't following a date driven itinerary (just have a lit of locations...) as we have heaps of time, so that leaves us a bit concerned about the online booking for QLD state/nat parks - but from reading it looks like there's plenty of non-govt options and we are setup to
bush camp if we need to. So hopefully all will be good! Will be interested in wht you do?
