Peter are you interested in a set area or just overall ?I have found that once you get out in the bush there are lots of
places you can just pull up and
camp . Remember you must get maps of these areas to find out if you are on someones lease ,if you are wandering around with the stick detecting on someones lease you may find a bullet or big dog heading your way very fast .You must also have a licence before you can go detecting .

Like Peter says there are lots of
places to
camp in the bush. pick a
area you want to go. you can
check with the mines dept on
Adelaide
terrace if the area you want to go is under lease, or you can log onto
there site register get a password and do it from
home.

Peter, I have been researching detecting for some time via Finders
Forum which you will find on the net.
Its been a great information resource re
places, camps, detectors & most stuff relating to what you are about to do.
I hope to start soon also when I get a detector.
Dont leace
home without reading it!
