Comment: In the footsteps of Carnegie - An introduction to our 2013 Expedition

Mike great read & great photos by a great team of modern day explorers, (but where are the videos?). Look forward to the rest of your Blogs and hopefully Alan will do one as well. Sounds like Al did some amazing research and the cooperation and support by the TO's and station owners is commendable. Cheers all round

Yep, Al did a lot of work in preparing this and getting the appropriate permissions for the party. He's got enough new data to keep him busy for a long time and you can probably expect quite a few things loosly marked on todays maps as "Position Approximate" to firm up. The T/O's have been winners as well with many finds of an archeological nature, recorded and delivered to them by Equinox. We also recorded positions of water holes and wells for therm that have been lost their stories over time. A lot lof mysteries remain though.

Cheers Mick
