Water at Wiluna?

Wiluna is a town of a few hundred inhabitants.You should be able to get water there. You can also drwa water from some of the wells on the CSR. The first well would be Well 6 also know as Pierre Springs. Do a search on thos site in Trek Notes of which wells have drinkable water.

Wiluna - you can get yer water and deisel/petrol (occasionaly) at Wiluna. If you go to the pub, park around the back of the pub. Don't leave yer vehicle outside on the road especially after dark. My advice - get yer water, yer fuel and a carton of stubbies, driveout of town and have a beer down the track. As a long time gold prospector in W.A., Wiluna is the only Goldfeilds town that makes me apprehensive when I walk down the street. I definitey don't like the place - gives me the creeps.

Hi all. Wiluna has a lovely new, clean Shell roadhouse and store that we used this time last year on our CSR trip. Also my inlaws lived and worked in Wiluna for sixteen years we visited them many times during this time and always felt safe around the town, even after dark, pinching of stuff is another matter however! make shure you lock up!

if you are travelling the Gunbarrel from the east you can get good water at Carnegie Station also fuel and basic supplies. Unless you want to do whe whole CSR you can always refuel there and cut thru Glenayle to CSR at Well 9.Avoids Wiluna all together and saves lots of km's.
