Holy heck woman! You did a number on yourself. I once lost a friend's car in one of a gazillion multi story car parks in Parramatta which was traumatic enough but it had nothing in it, let alone my entire world for the past 4 months! I think you should leave the glasses off and milk it for all it's worth. There has to be a discount or at least 'to the car valet service' in it for you.

It could have been worse, I could have been wearing my glasses instead of having them dangling around my neck. I'm fine and I can still see out of one eye! Everyone who has ever called me a one-eyed leftie will feel totally justified.
Interestingly, the only property damage was that my watch came off. The little rod that holds the band to the watch was dislodged despite me having several layers of clothing on. It was soon fixed. I'll give you a call next week but we may have to postpone the curry/slide night. I don't know how long it will take to heal but until it does I won't be going anywhere. Food parcels gratefully received :-).
