Carole,
Excellent blogs - thanks for sharing with us all.

One little comment on the EOTrackMe vs Speedo difference. EOTrackMe Android if you left it default settings only takes a position every 250m and the system calculates a straight line between the two positions - if you happen to turn say 90 degrees say it may be more or less than 250m, additionally if it took a few secs for the accuracy of your GPS get within the range the software needs it may cause you to move more or less. So in a nutshell your speedo will be more accurate than the tracking software. If you had the GPS record every 50m or less than it would be more accurate however this uses more data and power on your phone/tablet.

Also blogs hit the top of the list when they have been updated by the creator so if you open and save a blog it will go to the top of the forum index.

Anyway it is great you made it, enjoyed it and shared it. Well done.
PS: I know the home feeling, beds, hot water, flushing toilets - love travel, love coming home.

Thanks for clearing that up for me, David. Sometimes the EOTrack me wasn't showing any satellites until I put the Navigon on. It all seemed to work out. It's also nice to just walk to the bathroom without having to dodge the rain, or think of inventive ways to keep the butane burner alight - alfoil came to my rescue several times. There will always be work, just travel and travel well! Cheers Carole
