Thats a nice price. I wonder if it is a factory turbo diesel or a gxl diesel with a turbo added. I bet you it is the later....

Might be the well equipped L/C that belonged to a tourist and got drowned at Cable Beach in Broome a few months back. If it is, it will have some rock damage under the belly where they got hung up and the waves would have then proceed to set up a nice grinding action.

Cheap vehicles are sometimes cheap because they have been drowned in salt water then cleaned up and sold pronto because do amount of cleaning will remove salt water from all the tiny cavities and joins. They turn into unroadwrthy rust buckets in due course. Very hard to detect after it has been detailed.

There was a 1997 80 series diesel advertised in the Trading Post(Adelaide) a coupkle of weeks ago for $12,000. The ad mentions a few 'dents' and an 'untidy' interior. One can imagine! Propbably a trashed vehicle or one that has come in from the outback.
