Coming down to the Big Smoke next month to look for a truck. Have searched on Google and also SA Central website but have not come up with too much.
Looking for Used 4x4 Dealers as I am in the market for a Troopy/60/80 series Toyota or GQ Nissan, all diesels. Have been down Main North Road and South Road before but not looking for vehicles.
Any help will be appreciated.

Try CMI on Main North Road. Main North Nissan are a good mob A friends brother inlaw manages Main North Nissan have dealt with them in the past and lately( just purchsed a 2nd hand Patrol) been good. There is a heap of 4x4 dealers on MNRoad
And try the Trading Post

Thanks Foxer,
Yes I have been scouring the Trading Post. Will have a look at the dealers first though 'cause I love a game if I find something.
Cheers

Peter James Motors at Edwardstown and Reynella 4WD and Commercials. Both have web sites so you can look before you get to the concrete jungle. I got good service from Peter James, mate of mine has just bought his second 4by from Reynella and was happy.

Hi Willem
I've been waiting ages to reply to mail posted by a legend!! Now don't get a big head. I gather from Ruth we might have a ExplorOz meeting in
Birdsville!
Now to the topic at hand. We have been very happy with Cornes Toyota. They have a used car yard on Glen Osmond road. The other thing is to get onto the Government auctions. We discovered that troopies come in waves, but when they are available you will get them at a good price at the auction. They have a website, but I can't remember what it is. The auction yard is in
Netherby. Just be careful that they are ex - SA government vehicles, rather than interstate, because the history is harder to track.
Hope this helps.
(Bring some prickly pear juice to
Birdsville!)
Cheers
Anne

Willie, the Govt auction site is www.fleetsa.gov.au and go to Auction site or vehicle search. It will give you a report on each vehicle. The auctions are each Wednesday at Netley and the website is updated each Friday about mid day for the next weeks auctions. If you click on prices, the sale prices for the last 6-8 weeks are listed. The vehicles from up north can be a bit rough. Might be a bit more than youwant to pay though.

Thanks Al, will
check out the auctions though one has to be careful not to be sucked in. It is very easy to go over budget.
