Just a short note to say thanks for the fantastic
blogs. I been following your epics for a while now and you have really whetted the appetite for some more adventures.
Have already purchased a few of the books you mention and in a couple of years when retirement finally arrives we hope to discover some of the magnificent country you have visited. Thanks

Good on you Jim. There are some great journals and tales of exploration out there. I read Spinifex and Sand when I was in high school. That and Giles "Australia twice traversed" really got my interest in the early
explorers started and then Len Beadell's books just made me want to get out there and travel.
