Tonyfish,
Sorry you had so many problems, when we bought ours over last year it all went very smoothly, we purchased ours used from Inland Empire Marine in Perris CA who export 50-60 boats a year to Australia so they are very familiar with the protocols. We also had a new trailer made to Australian regulations which they recommended we do and they have a trailer manufacturer who does this for them so there is no problem with lights, brakes and hitches. The boat was shrink wrapped and went straight through customs and AQIS inspection with no problems, The VIA on the trailer was issued
well before shipping and as we already had the correct hitch etc an unregistered permit was not a problem. We used INTERPORT in
Brisbane and just drove in and picked it up (steel toed boots and Hi Vis required)

I am glad you had a smooth ride and I hope your boat is all you expected. Do you have a warranty Issue as
well?. I was surprised our boat was not shrink wrapped, we were told that is how we would pick it up.
It appears it was my Importer that was the issue.
Regards Tony
