Hi All
Was searching for some tyre info on the internet & came across a web site which may be of help to anyone who hasn't seen it, dealing with various aspects of vehicle maint, which he calls his maint bibles. Go to www.chris-longhurst.com/ and click on car maint bibles on lhs. There are articles on suspension, eng oils, eng oil additives, & wheels & tyres. W & T would answer the questions of many of us who wonder about the effect on speedo of different sizes of tyres as there is a calculator that works it out instantly to the nearest .1 km/h. Lot of good stuff in the other sections too. Hope this is helpful.
cheers
Pete

Some good reading here Pete. Interesting that the oil Magnatec is NOT permitted to make the same claims in the US that they do in Australia. They don't even call it by the same name. Does this suggest that Australia's Fair Trading is not as serious as the US counterpart.

g'day guys, have had a look at that site also, not bad heh.
Australian legislation sucks when it comes to the oil inductry, you would be surprised at what some oil coy's get away with re synthetics, ratings etc.
i and many others would like to tell all, but we coud not afford the legal x's.
cheers
