Comment: The Dowling Track SW Queensland

We travelled the Dowling Track in late July this year and spent four very enjoyable nights at the Lagoon on Kilcowera.
Did the mud map tour out to Lake Wyara.
The track it's self was in excellent condition, we had a great time at Quilpie enjoying the free concert by Tedeschi and Cooper, classical, gypsy and jazz music at the Town Hall.
Our meal at Toompine was filling, Thargomindah was interesting, the beer at The Royal Mail Hotel at Hungerford was cold, the meal was good and the company even better.
Due to time we headed straight for Bourke and onto the Darling River.
