Thanks for the write up - most enjoyable.

I remember my walk up the Glen as if it was yesteryear, I felt so privileged to go where few have travelled before and to know for certain I stood on the same ground as DWC.

And shock horror, Al cooked a damper, I thought he only ate from tins using a cold chisel like Len B - lol.

It's a stiff walk into the interior Phil. You've got to watch your footing that's for sure. Yes that was Al's amazing fruit damper. It was also he and Big Johns dinner!

He lost the chisel in the first week. Was able to crack them open with simply a steely look (or harsh language of that failed!).
