I have seen small caravans and large camper trailers in the first car park. However, to be sure you could call the
Port Arthur Visitor Centre: 1800 659 101 (from within Australia) or +61 (0)3 6251 2310.
The road to the mines has some stunning
views over Norfolk Bay, and is tar till the park entry after which there is about 1km of gravel to the first car park.
